Volunteer 
In order to keep our organization healthy and growing, help is needed to build the homes, as well as committee work, administrative tasks, fund raising and church relations. Both skilled and unskilled labor is always needed! Prior construction experience is not necessary; we teach you what you need to know. Everyone has something special to offer. There is always room for one more to make an immediate, tangible difference for a family and the community. From those who want to volunteer many hours per month, to individuals who only have 1 or 2 hours per month to offer, every contribution is needed and appreciated. You are invited to join our volunteer team for a fun and fulfilling experience and help make a difference in our community.

Donate
 Habitat for Humanity needs everything used to build a house, from nails to trusses and appliances to lighting. Everything involved in building homes including but not limited to dumpsters, plumbing supplies and gift certificates to hardware and retail outlets are welcomed.

Fund Raising
 Plant City Habitat for Humanity plans to have several fundraisers throughout the year. This year they hosted their first annual Carnival which was a great success. Many prizes were donated from businesses and individuals. There were professional carnival games, animals from the Humane Society and Lowery Park Zoo and even a live band! Planned for this year  Currently, they are working with Hillsboro Bank and Lowe's to have a children’s “little house” bank decorating contest. The banks will be placed at various businesses to raise money for the local Plant City Chapter. Hillsboro Bank is donating US savings bonds to the three most creatively decorated banks. Community fund raising & awareness are critical to their success.
